I've been in touch with the
Bib+Tuck girls for months now and have all sorts of fun things in the works with them. During winter break, I "tucked" my first few pieces from the website and I'm so excited to show you and to be guest blogging for them.
They're a members-only online community with a curated selection of clothing and accessories for women who want to shop without spending. You "bib" pieces you own that are still in great condition but no longer your style/don't fit right, etc. and using the points garnered "tuck" or purchase with said points, pieces you like from those posted.
Pretty nifty, huh? Especially handy for all of us broke college students who love our shopping but are sorely lacking the means to indulge in it. Head on over and tuck away! I'll be posting my guest post link soon. Clearly I'm getting more invested in the whole concept of mixing prints, albeit still keeping the palette relatively neutral.
For those of you who have been following this little blog since the older days when I was a wee one on the other side of the continent, you know I was a true heels girl. There was no stiletto too high and no platform too absurd for me to wear. Standing at a mere 5 feet 4 inches, they were my lifeline. I lived in a driving city where this was possible. Now, living and working and going to school in New York means heels have been cast aside to make way for lots of loafers and boots. Very rarely do I find a pair comfortable (and cool) enough to stand around for hours in. These JC Soiree heels courtesy of my favorite footwear e-store
Ashbury Skies. Wearing these in this sub-freezing temperature - if that isn't love, I don't know what is. Spikes and lucite and ankle strips, oh my!
And as per the usual, wayfarers are my sunglasses of choice, these bad boys by
Lookmatic. Ch-ch-check em' out.
