Wearing: Pleasure Doing Business bandage skirt,  The Scarlet Room croc tunic worn shorter , Tt Collection Dylan skinny fit blazer, 1986 gold necklace, United Nude block hi neon pumps.

Wore this outfit yesterday and took a bunch of pictures beforehand.

Confession: I am very slightly OBSESSED with PDB's skirts. This one is awesome and well, as Naina would put it, makes anyone look like Buzz Lightyear. Good times.

I got this shirt from The Scarlet Room and it's got these great python imitation fuchsia sleeve patches that got hidden with this jacket. It's actually much longer but I needed a top and I couldn't find the basic black one I usually use.

No matter how many blazers I may lust after, this one will ALWAYS be my favorite. It's just the perfect fit.

By the way, thanks so much to the fabulous Judith V Hoek  for sketching me here! She's so talented, you guys NEED to visit her blog. Thanks again, J!

More press: Asian Age did an article on me that appeared in the newspaper, still haven't scanned it. You can check out the online version here.
It came in the Deccan Chronicle as well, thanks to all the lovely people who emailed/tweeted me about it and reminded my forgetful ass that it was out!

I have had countless people tell reiterate that London of all cities , undoubtedly has the most amazingly individualistic street style and vintage stores.  I'm not sure if this is true but having stalked the Sartorialist, Facehunter, Garance Dore, Get Your Plain Right on Time, etc. I know for a fact that it's pretty darn amazing. The thing that makes their style stand out is that it's very individualistic. You know how you'll always see lots of sharp cuts and black in New York and embellishments and pops of bright hues in Milan? Everybody is different in London. From hair accessories outerwear to shoes, it's like watching a real life reel of a street style website.I really want to go check out some London vintage shops in the near future.

I've especially heard good things about Notting Hill vintage shops. But I feel you need to walk the city to know it.

Check out my latest sponsors Panama Hats/Fedora Hats in the sidebar. Go ahead and check out their website, they've got some great stuff!

Anyhow, I now have to go and procrastinate and not study for my exams that start in a week for which I have done exactly nothing and instead watch Glee reruns. Phew. I need to learn how to use more punctuation. Bye!

XO

the skirt's pattern looks like a mass production of Rajnikanth's(who is a God) sideburns from the movie 'Robot' - http://www.blazzip.com/images/movie-endhiran/endhiran-wallpaper01-rajinikanth-aishwarya.jpg
