Wearing: Caroline Hedaya pale pink sheer pouf dress, Report Signature Edson multi sandals, W brown braided belt.

I recently went for an event in honor of a prospective website I may be contributing to soon (more on that later) and decided that this pale pink Caroline Hedaya dress would be perfect for it. The delicate sheer is in tune with the feminine touches; the pouf skirt with tulle underlay and the quintessentially girly subdued pink.

I have always been slightly obsessed with poofy anything (Ahem: Exhibit A) because it makes your legs look longer than a more fitted skirt does. It's the same reason I love nude shoes, they give the illusion of your legs being a few inches longer because it merges with your skin. And for shorties like myself, every inch counts.

I just added the belt to give it more shape and to define the waist. It was a little looser around there. Plus, it breaks the monotony of all pink.

The fabulous people over at Report Signature sent me these gorgeous shoes. I am kind of obsessed. They're so fun, with all the color splotches. They up the ante on an otherwise neutral hued outfit, like this one. They're also pretty comfortable, I wore them to FNO (see: last post) and walked around the mall and for as high the heel is, my feet did not feel number that something left out in the snow for a week.

Score!

And now I am going to confide in you and tell you an embarrassing story of international proportions. Okay, not quite but it's pretty humiliating.
So funny story. Mali, Naina, Alexis and I decided to go to the Forever 21 launch in India, being held in Ambience Mall in Delhi. So now, unbeknown to us, there are in fact, TWO Ambience malls in Delhi. Of course, we didn't have the slightest clue so we went anyway. So Mali's driver is new and he has no clue where anything is. We end up in Saket instead of NFC which is the other end of Delhi.  Then we had to go back to NFC to pick up some friends and then we went to Gurgaon. We get inside the mall, search for the store for half an hour, called some friends who had already reached and were informed we were at the WRONG MALL. Epic fail. So we drove all the way back to Vasant Kunj which is where the correct mall was and reached just in time to grab some accessories. Of course, we spent about 20 minutes fighting over who's fault it was. The whole escapade was just embarrassing. Of course, I am aware that the majority of my audience is from the States so you have no idea of these locations but eh. Just don't laugh too hard. I didn't put this up here just for shits and giggles!

Mali is wearing DKNY Erin shoes, H & M plaid shirt dress with an H &M silk slip inside plus my Lena Erziak black Anthony bag.

Naina on the left is wearing a NEXT striped dress, Aldo wedges and a Kazo bag and I'm wearing a Tt Collection Janey silk print asymmetrical dress and Topshop Wisteria nude wedges.

I absolutely adore your style!

Would it be possible if you could do a post on how you style your hair? i.e what products/routine etc

I think i may have similar hair to your's (thick and wavey) but have no idea on how to keep up with it and prevent it from frizzing, getting dry and being an absolute mess!

Oh fail on the mall, haha!

I cannot wait to go to India one day. I plan to do so after I graduate school in the winter of next year.

Your technicolour heels from the first couple of pictures look great - more spring than fall. However I think whatever weather is going on currently in India reflects your colour palette.

I'm sure you don't need the generic compliment of saying "your style is awesome, as always" but I will say so anyway :)

Your style is awesome, as always.

Hahahahahahaha! Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj confused with Gurgaon? Seriously! :D
Yeah, Forever 21 had some road shows too and I know the launch was brilliant! Can't wait to be back to Delhi :)
Lovely pouffy dress btw! The shoes work perfectly with it! :)

Many of your pictures aren't loading for me (I blame my craptastic internet connection!) BUT from what I can see... that is the girliest dress I have ever seen you wear, and I LOVE it! Poofy skirts are my favorite. And the hoes are *awesome*, I love their multicoloredness! (Also lusting over the topshop wedges!)

That's hilarious about the F21 mall mixup. I had no idea there were two Ambience malls in Delhi, I'm sure that's confusing for lots of people! But it must have been a looong drive from Gurgaon to Vasant Kunj!

Awwww omg, a similar situation happened to my on Fashion Night Out so I totally know how you feel. I totally know it wasn't my fault though which was so infuriating.

You are absolutely gorgeous and those shoes looks amazing on you. Totally jealous that you also have the topshop wisteria wedges which I missed snagging.

Really, really gorgeous! Had to follow :) And don't worry, I have really gone to the wrong place countless times. I once told my sister I would pick her up at the library after school, set my GPS and accidentally ended up on the highway driving towards another state because I set the GPS to the right city name in another state. Ooops!! It was dark by the time I got her :)

Delicious shoes, gorgeous!

Ok. So when I edited last my template, it was Simple, and where I could customize the coloring on the posting headers, I think I just edited the html so that the number was coded for black: #000000

But there is this fancy schmancy new design templates going on, with which I have been too afraid to experiment. Apologies.
