Free People dress c/o MissKL.com
Despite it's many cliches, I do love me some Free People. I'm a sucker for lace dresses but came to the crashing realization years ago that most such dresses on the market are hideous and painful to the visual senses.
This little beauty is plum and has this asymmetrical hem situation going on. It's from MissKL.com which is Karamaloop's new womenswear-only website. So much sheer awesomeness- head over there and prepare to be broke. They're the same peeps who hosted that amazing $1000 giveaway on this bloggy blog a month back (thanks y'all fir entering and congrats to Ria, the winner!).

its hard to wear a lace dress but this is pretty chic. i wore a beige lace trapeze dress last week that nearly swallowed me whole. fail. im into this though, good color.

This dress is cheap and definitely an assault on many senses. It looks cheap, it looks like it would feel rough and it probably smells awful (like acrylic and polyester does).
